Financial Aid and Scholarships

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Disbursements for Fall 2025 will begin after business hours on Friday, August 15, and will continue on a regular schedule thereafter.  

  • Once disbursements are posted to student accounts, refunds are expected to appear in bank accounts by Friday, August 22.
  • Refunds are issued by Student Financial Services.  If you have questions about your refund status after your financial aid has disbursed, we encourage you to contact Student Financial Services directly.
 

If you are expecting to receive a Middle Class Scholarship, these will be added to Financial Aid packages for all qualifying students beginning in mid October.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

We are aware that Congress has passed a reconciliation bill that has impacts to federal student aid, but these impacts do not take effect until after July 1, 2026.  

The bill does not impact aid packages for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.  

What We Do Know:

  • The California State University system is working diligently to assess any potential impact on our students.
