Bridge to the Beach (BTTB)

Welcome to Bridge to the Beach!
Congratulations on being admitted to Cal State Long Beach!
As an incoming first-year Beach Academy student, you’re invited to attend Bridge to the Beach, a FREE 4-day summer residential program designed to help you start strong.

What is Bridge to the Beach?
Bridge to the Beach is a four day residential transition program primarily for incoming First-Year Beach Academy students. The program is designed to help students bridge the gap between high school and college through intentional programming and enrichment activities.
Students will live on-campus in the residence halls (dorms) and participate in activities that help them learn about the campus culture, academic writing preparation, leadership development, and how to identify resources and services. This is also a great way for students to engage and network with other incoming students and build meaningful connections prior to the start of the school year. For more information about Bridge to the Beach go to the frequently asked questions page.
Bridge to the Beach is your chance to:
- Meet other new Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà students
- Experience living in the residence halls
- Get to know the campus before classes start
- Connect with faculty, staff, and mentors
All housing and meals are provided at no cost!
